As a preferred supplier for Roche Diagnostics Int Ltd in Rotkreuz, we are looking for an individual as
Software Engineer (m/f/d)
(contract for 12 months, with possible extension). The earliest start date is within 2 months. Remote/Home Office: hybrid, min. 2 days per week on site.
Aufgabenbeschreibung
- Proactive participation in all phases of software development from feasibility studies through design, development, testing and bug fixing and maintenance
- Collaboration within the Scrum-Teams
- Independent interaction with internal framework manufacturers
- Based on requirements and models, definition of software architecture, design and specifications, ultimately leading to implementation
- Participation in the definition of work packages, their estimation and planning in a sprint-based agile environment
- Adherence to a software development process including contribution to written deliverables and documentation
Erforderliches Profil
- Min. Bachelor degree in a software related field such as software or electrical engineering
- Min. 5+ years of experience as Software Developer or Software Engineer within the medical device or regulated industry
- Hands on experience with C++ greater than version 11, from the latest assignment (last three years)
- Hands-on Development experience in Linux and experience with Linux Dockers
- Fluent in English
- Highly motivated with focus on deadlines and a proactive and thorough way of working
- Excellent communication and team working skills, flexibility, willingness to write good documentation and the drive to bring a product to its conclusion
Nice to Have:
- Basic scripting knowledge would be an advantage
- RabbitMQ knowledge would be an advantage
- German is advantageous
- Event-Driven Architecture knowledge would be an advantage
- Experience with CAN bus
- Experience with the agile methodology (e.g. Scrum)
