Introduction

As a supplier for Axpo Services AG in Baden (Switzerland), we are looking for a Business Process Champion (BPC) - Record to Report (R2R) & Team Lead BPC (contract for 3-6 months with possibility to extend if suitable for all parties involved) with a start date as soon as possible or within 3 months.

Description of the mission

End-to-end Process design, build and continuous improvement

BPC Team Lead role
  • Ensures the entire team of BPC's works with same method-ology and approach in regards to end-to-end process design and integration.
  • Ensures overarching coordination and alignment accross end-to-end processes in exchange with Lead BPO.
Record to report focused role
  • Supports and consults Business Process Owner "R2R" in defining cross-functional process design principles
  • Safeguards end-to-end process integration, automation and flexibility for R2R process
  • Coordinates and moderates end-to-end integration and re-view deviations from standard process
  • Moderates cross-functional exchange to ensure end-to-end process establishment
  • Establishes harmonized accounting guidelines and chart of accounts
  • Defines relevant regulatory accounting standards, design parallel ledgers and automate process
  • Defines and maintains harmonized Controlling Object Gov-ernance (incl. profit center definition and structures)
  • Establishes steering KPIs and maintains automated calcula-tion logic
  • Introduces R2R process controls and KPI's
  • Identifies and develops improvement measures in Account-ing, Controlling, Treasury and Tax
  • Steers and moderates process related discussions across functions
  • Estabishes super user community along R2R process
  • Ensures governance of the process standards (keeping the process landscape up to date)
  • Monitores the economic, technical and timely implementation of the new requirements in close cooperation with the ERP
Functional Lead
  • Negotiates innovative business solutions along end-to-end process that satisfy by BPO provided objectives, are con-sistent with architectural guidelines and conform to security standards
IT consistency
  • Coordinates improvements for the E2E process and ensures a consistent deployment of tools across process-es/BUs/countries
  • Maintains and updates workflows between functions and evaluate requests in the light of standard process adherence
  • Moderates process updates and facilitate collaboration be-tween functional stakeholders and IT
  • Works with Key/super users to conduct user acceptance testing
Change management
  • Owns and establishes Change management process for R2R and overarching requests
  • Captures and evaluates requests made for process changes/ additional processes by/ from BUs/countries/others
  • Prepares change requests for decision by Business Process Owner
  • Provides guidance to stakeholders along the end-to-end pro-cess
Administrative (Documentation)
  • Defines documentation principles to ensure consistency
  • Reviews/oversees documentation and up to dateness
  • Establishes and ensures consistent documentation across E2E process
  • Develops communication plans to communicate change
Leadership
  • Coordinates and steers team of Business Process Champions

  • Strong understanding of SAP ERP, IT security guidelines and IT architecture standards

  • Proven expert in regards to R2R process
  • Background in business analysis
  • Experience in design and modeling of business processes
  • Qualified scrum master
  • Project management skills
  • Knowledge in utilities industry and trading
Leadership Competencies
  • 3+ years experinece in people management
  • Experienced in building a high-performing team
  • Experienced in leading teams in international environment and complex context
  • strong in managing and facilitating change
Qualifications
  • University degree (master) in business administration or similar
  • 5 to 10 years of professional experience in the area General Accounting/Reporting processes and respective support sys-tems
  • Excellent understanding of process excellence and continuous Improvement
IT knowhow
  • Know-how in ERP solutions (i.e. SAP S/4 HANA) and deployment
  • Know-how in leading treasury solutions, tax reporting platforms
  • Know-how in AI and Robotics supported processes is a plus
Languages
  • Fluent in German and English
