Introduction

Description of the mission

• Your main responsibilities are to implement, test, support and improve the specific IT infrastructure supporting Swiss Timing Sports Services Production (World Cups, Olympic Games, Multisport events, Broadcast services, Central Services, etc.).
• You liaise with Sport Managers for the regular events deliveries and act as the point of contact regarding IT implementation related activities with the organizing committee, the integrators or the sub-contractors.
• When necessary, you resolve or escalate identified large impediments or issues.
• Furthermore, you ensure IT security standards and monitor service production IT infrastructure performance.
• Finally, you unify the IT service production landscape to manage the complexity and provide an IT infrastructure manageable by the Sports Services Production teams.
• To do so, you develop, improve and provide necessary training and awareness activities to the different audiences.

Required profile

• Holder of a computer science degree or equivalent expertise, accompanied by certification in project management, you have proven experience in this field.
• Able to work independently, you are flexible, as your function requires you to travel internationally on a regular basis.
• Service and solution oriented, friendly and team player, you also have a “have to go” attitude when facing internal or external clients. You demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to respect regulations and requirements.
• Founded IT Infrastructure knowledge and experience (Windows, Linux, Network, Cloud)
• Successful experience IT project management
• Travel availability in Switzerland and abroad
• Fluent in English and French
• German would be an asset
